Steve V. Barbre, Associate
Professor of Law, has been a member of the Law
Center faculty since 1983, and teaches courses in
corporations, commercial paper, common law property,
contracts, and local government law. He earned a
B.A. in political science from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison and the J.D. from the University
of Chicago Law School. Barbre is a member of the
Louisiana State Bar Association. Prior to joining
the Law Center faculty, he practiced Law in New
Orleans.
