Financial Affairs

The primary mission of the Office of Financial Affairs is to maintain fiscal accountability through sound financial management. The office supports the Law Center's mission of providing a legal education through functions of instruction, public service, student services and library service.

The Law Center's Office of Financial Affairs works in conjunction with the Comptroller's office of the Southern University Baton Rouge Campus as it relates to: financial accounting and reporting; student loan disbursements; tuition and fee collections; payrolls; and debt collections.

The office processes vendors' disbursements, travel audits and reimbursements, and is responsible for certain human resources and investment management issues.
