Each fall first year
law students are provided a two-day orientation
beginning with an opening address from distinguished
members of the state judiciary, state bar
association president, and chairman of the state
bar’s Professionalism and Quality of Life Committee.
Group sessions on professionalism conducted by
members of the state bar, skits and panels on the
law school environment conducted by second and third
year students, and skills orientation workshops
conducted by faculty members are important features
of orientation. Information is also provided to
students regarding financial aid, student health
insurance, health care, parking and traffic
concerns, library regulations, registration
procedures, and other items of interest.
