Orientation

Each fall first year law students are provided a two-day orientation beginning with an opening address from distinguished members of the state judiciary, state bar association president, and chairman of the state bar’s Professionalism and Quality of Life Committee. Group sessions on professionalism conducted by members of the state bar, skits and panels on the law school environment conducted by second and third year students, and skills orientation workshops conducted by faculty members are important features of orientation. Information is also provided to students regarding financial aid, student health insurance, health care, parking and traffic concerns, library regulations, registration procedures, and other items of interest.
