2018-2019 Southern University Law Review Junior Associate Editors
Alexis Davis, Junior Associate Editor of SU Law Review, won the 2018 Best Case Note Award for the Law Review Write-On Competition
Junior Associate Editors, Gina Signorelli and Eric Citizen participated in a Pro Bono Project with SU Professors at the Children’s Hospital Outpatient Clinic and won First Place for their Trunk or Treat theme.
Morgan Ducote, a rising 3-L , tied for first place in the Louisiana State Bar Association Environmental Law Section Writing Competition for her article Uprooted and Underwater: An Examination of the Ideology Towards the Legal Implications of Coastal Erosion.
An article written by Tara Melancon is garnering national attention before it even appears in print. The article, “Alexa, Pick an Amendment: A Comparison of Fourth and First Amendment Protections of Echo Device Data,” will appear in Volume 45 of the Southern University Law Review.
