Carolyn A. Stephens has been a member of the Southern University Law Center support staff since 1987 serving in numerous departments as an Administrative Assistant, III. Carolyn has worked in the Law Library from January 1986 to September 15, 1987; the Office of Clinical Education Program from September 16, 1987 to July 1, 2015; and is currently assigned to the Office of Career Services since July 1, 2015.
Ms. Stephens holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Southern University A&M College and Certificate for Administrative Assistant Training.
Ms. Stephens also provides administrative support to the following programs at the Law Center: Criminal Law Society – Louisiana Supreme Court, Moot Court/ Intra-School Competition, Simulated Trials, American Inns of Court, Low Income Tax Law Clinic Conferences, LSBA Committee on Professionalism SULC Orientation Committee, SULC Annual Alumni Round Up, SULC Graduation Committee, and SULC Minority Law Research Institute.
Ms. Stephens is a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She is also the mother of twins (Marcia & Mario) and proud grandmother of Mario, Mark, Carrington, Cydney, Marquez and Evan.
