Courses taught: criminal law, criminal procedure, evidence, civil law property

Professor jones is a 1982 magna cum laude graduate of Southern University School of Law where he served as articles editor for the law review.  In 1992, he earned an LL.M. in labor law from Georgetown University School of Law.  He is the co-author of two books:  Harges and jones’, Louisiana Evidence, 2007 (Thomson-West Publishing Co., Lawyers Practice Series) and Harges and jones’, Louisiana Evidence: Problems and Materials.  Professor jones has written several articles on Louisiana Evidence and the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution.  He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association Board of Governors.
