Students admitted to the Law Center may take courses at other accredited law centers/schools and obtain credit toward their degrees with prior written approval from the Vice Chancellor. Students are allowed to earn a maximum of 16 credit hours for such courses. Students expecting to receive a degree from Southern University Law Center must spend their last two semesters in residency at the Law Center.
