The entire
third-year class at SULC is entitled to
participate in bar preparation symposia
offered at no cost during their final year
in law studies. These sessions focus on the
preparation of outlines of recurring issues
tested on the Louisiana bar exam and the
development of an analytical approach to
resolving those issues.
A full commercial bar review is available to
law students during the summer before the
bar exam. The Law Center provides assistance
awards to help defray the cost of
preparation for the bar to students who
attend bar preparation sessions throughout
their stet year. During the summer before
the bar exam, SULC also offers a supplement
to the commercial bar review that focuses on
developing concisely written responses to
bar exam questions using the recurring
outlines.
