Starting law school can be a formidable task for most students. Expectations are more demanding. The volume of knowledge to be learned is immense. The pace is intense. New and even continuing students can sometimes feel overwhelmed.
SULC’s faculty knows first-hand the trials that new and continuing students can face during their studies at the law center. Precisely because of this, SULC has developed one of the most comprehensive Academic Success Programs in the country.
For newly admitted students, SULC offers a comprehensive four week Summer Pre Law Program during the month of July. There, you’ll get a head start learning the basics of analysis, issue spotting, briefing, and various basic legal concepts for many of the courses you’ll be taking in your first semester.
In addition, the Office of Academic Support offers both the Academic Success Skills Program and the Academic Skills Enhancement Program in the fall and spring semesters each year. Need more personalized assistance? The Office of Academic Support offers Academic Counseling and Disability Services for Testing throughout the academic year.
At SULC, all faculty and staff are committed to offering you the tools and knowledge needed to have the best opportunity for success.
