Daughters Beyond Incarceration (DBI), a group led by two women who have experienced parental incarceration, seeks to break the cycle of poverty and crime amongst daughters with incarcerated fathers. DBIadvocates for girls with incarcerated dads by pursuing policy and legislative improvements. In addition to providing mentorship ser-vices,DBIworks directly with daughters of the incarcerated on leadership and character development.
