SULC Staff Member Publishes Scholarly Articles on Public Policy and Sickle Cell Anemia Awareness
Southern University Law Center proudly recognizes Dr. Lena Mae Johnson, Coordinator of Admissions and Title IX Confidential Advisor, for the publication of her third scholarly article, “Public Policy and Healthcare Awareness: Addressing the Challenges of Sickle Cell Anemia,” featured in the Journal of Health, Medicine and Nursing.
In her latest publication, Dr. Johnson examines the intersection of public policy and healthcare advocacy, focusing on the systemic and social challenges experienced by individuals living with sickle cell anemia. Her work highlights the importance of policy reform, education, and awareness in addressing inequalities that continue to impact affected communities.
