Newly elected SBA officers took office on Friday, April 15

Congratulations to the Southern University Law Center’s 2016-2017 Student Bar Association (SBA) officers, who began their term April 15:
President, Jordan Franklin; vice president, Robin Winn; secretary, Kenneesha Johnson; treasurer, Ryan Lloyd; parliamentarian, Hunter Thomas; ABA representative, David Points; Evening Class president, Dadrius Lanus; Evening Class representatives, Alvarez Hertzock and Dmitrius McGruder; 3L Class president, Alonna Murray; 3L Class representative, Amariha Fort; 2L Class president: Gary Williams; and 2L Class Representatives, Otia Bowie and Britney Duke.
“I have no doubt you all will do exceptional work for SULC and epitomize “Seriousness of Purpose” in all you do,” outgoing president Patrick Harrington said. “Strive to thrive, my friends, and be remarkable!”
The student body approved the new SBA executive board officer position of historian, and the following professors were selected as the Professors of the Year:
Professor of the Year (Day): Donald North & Wendy Shea (Tied); and Professor of the Year (Evening): Chancellor John K. Pierre
All unfilled SBA officer positions will be filled by a special election in the Fall 2016 semester.
