Mental Health Counseling
SULC employs counselors who are licensed mental health professionals providing mental and behavioral health services to those students matriculating at SULC. These services are provided at no cost to the students. These counselors provide services for a wide variety of symptoms and/or diagnoses, including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, transitional issues and thought disorders. Although, the counselors are unable to provide prescriptions for medications, they are able to provide referrals to physicians who have contracts with SULC. This referral service is also provided at no cost to the students. Medication management appointments will be available to students on campus once a month during the academic year.
