Pierre to be a featured speaker and honored guest at kickoff of National HBCU Pre-Law Summit and Law Expo 2016, September 22

Chancellor John K. Pierre will be among the honored guests and featured speakers at the Third Annual National HBCU Pre-Law Summit and Law Expo 2016, September 22, in Atlanta, Georgia.
At a kick-off event to be held at Morehouse College, Chancellor Pierre will be a part of a special panel with other HBCU law school deans. The Chancellor also will serve as a featured guest speaker and participate in a Q&A session with aspiring law students, who are HBCU current students or alumni, according to Evangeline M. Mitchell, founder and executive director of the National HBCU Pre-Law Summit. A reception will precede the event, and a networking dessert social will immediately follow.
The summit will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 23-24, at Georgia State University College of Law in downtown Atlanta, Georgia.
Chancellor Pierre, who addressed the 2015 Pre-Law Summit, says he is honored to accept this year’s invitation. “I always enjoy engaging prospective law students and the HBCU Pre-Law Summit is the preeminent event to engage in dialogue with bright and eager students interested in pursuing professional legal education opportunities,” he said.
This event is free of charge and open to everyone. Please visit the summit’s official website at www.hbcuprelawsummit.org for details and conference updates.
