Allison Gordon

VP and Deputy General Counsel
Allison Gordon currently serves as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for BNC. In this role, Gordon works alongside network executives and provides legal oversight, business advice and strategic insight across all areas of the organization including, but not limited to, news production, on-air talent, distribution, human resources, marketing, and intellectual property.
Gordon has gained extensive legal and business experience in the sports and entertainment industry from a broad range of premier sports, media and entertainment entities. Before joining BNC, Gordon was Senior Counsel and Head of Business & Legal Affairs for Endeavor Content Audio, where she oversaw and handled all legal aspects of the company’s podcast business including negotiating rights, distribution, financing and talent deals. Prior to joining Endeavor Content, Gordon served as Associate General Counsel for THINK450, the National Basketball Players Association’s licensing and marketing subsidiary where she, among other things, played a key role in closing notable group licensing deals with Anheuser-Busch, CarMax and Dapper Labs.
Prior to THINK450, Gordon worked at NBC Sports Group where she served as lead attorney on production, development and on-air talent matters for all sports-related content on NBC’s broadcast, cable, regional sports and digital platforms. In this capacity, Gordon provided legal support to notable sports properties including the Olympics, NASCAR, Premier League, Triple Crown and the NFL. Gordon began her legal career as an Associate in the Sports, Arts & Entertainment Practice Group of Garvey Schubert Barer (now Foster Garvey PC) in New York, where she counseled professional athletes, entertainment professionals and tastemakers on various matters including brand and intellectual property protection and licensing, media deals, endorsements, rights acquisition and disposition, and entrepreneurship.
Gordon graduated with a BA in Communication from University of Pennsylvania and earned her Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law. She is a founding member of the Young Lawyers’ Division of the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. In her spare time, Gordon enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and daughter.
