Ebony Griffith

Ebony Griffin, is an Attorney Advisor with the Executive Office of United States Attorneys at the Department of Justice in Washington, DC. In this capacities, Ms. Griffin is responsible for supporting the Agency’s United States Attorneys in civil litigations and for providing legal services to the Agency, particularly in the areas of Information Disclosure and Privacy law.
Ms. Griffin has distinguished herself as a leader with drive and selfless commitment to public service. She is the founder and director of The Stress Less Lawyer. Since 2015, she has provided guidance related to stress management and mental health awareness to attorneys and legal professionals. She currently speaks to law schools, law firms, and provides individual coaching to attorneys around the Country as a mental health advocate.
Ms. Griffin is also an author and a licensed mental health therapist. She owns and operates ReFocus Together Counseling Services, which serves individuals and couples. Her focuses are stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Ebony Griffin holds a J.D. from the Southern University Law Center. She earned a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capital Seminary. She is also the 2020 recipient of the Department of Justice’s Community Service Recognition award.
