Game Design Program
SULC x Urban Arts

Southern University Law Center is thrilled to announce a transformative partnership with Urban Arts for the 2023-2024 academic year. This collaboration will introduce students from Title 1-eligible schools to the exciting world of game design and development via an after-school Game Design program. Students interested in participating must apply and be accepted by Urban Arts. This innovative program will be powered by remote sessions, led by experienced game-design instructors, which students can join virtually from our Esports Innovation Lab at the Smith-Brown Memorial Union. To guarantee successful program outcomes, UA will also provide staff to liaison with the Law Center's leadership, teachers, and parents as necessary. This partnership promises to unlock new horizons of creative learning and inspire the next generation of game designers.
- We will offer remote sections of our after-school program in Game Design on Wednesday and Friday, 3-5:30 PM CST (4-6:30 PM EST) from October through June.
- All students interested in participating would need to complete an application for Urban Arts programming, preferably by Oct. 18.
