Harry L. Daniels
HARRY L. DANIELS, III (SULC ’07), Co-Founding partner at Daniels and Washington Law Firm (www.championsforjustice.com) on December 7, 2018, was elected the 33rd president of the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (LACDL) at the organization’s annual Tate Banquet. Daniels earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette in 2004 and his Juris Doctor in 2007 from Southern University Law Center. He is admitted to the Louisiana Bar as well as the Eastern, Western, and Middle districts of the Federal 5th Circuit.

In 2019, Daniels received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Southern University Law Center.
After Law School, Daniels joined forces with his classmate Christopher Washington to form Daniels and Washington Law Firm. Daniels focuses his practice on Criminal Defense and Post-Conviction work.
Daniels is a highly accomplished and nationally trained and recognized trial attorney. Daniels travels the country representing his clients in multiple states. In 2014, Daniels was elected as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Louisiana by the National Trial Lawyers and has consistently been elected as such each year since. Additionally, he is consistently nominated and recognized by his peers, year-in and year-out, as a Super Lawyer for his excellence in criminal defense since 2013. Daniels is an in instructor at the Trial Lawyer’s College in Dubois Wyoming.
Since 2007, Daniels has been a member of LACDL. LACDL is the only professional association of counsel devoted to the profession of Criminal Defense and its goal is to preserve, protect, and defend the Right to Counsel as created by the founding fathers and made part of the fundamental law of the United States and the State of Louisiana.
