Jay Richardson

A 7 year NFL veteran (retired) drafted by the Oakland Raiders in 2007, Jay Richardson distinguished himself as a standout two sport athlete at Dublin Scioto High School right here in Columbus Ohio. He continued his success with a full athletic scholarship to The Ohio State University where he was a part of the 2002 National Championship football team under coach Jim Tressel. He was a year letter winner and earned All Big10 Honors as a senior. He graduated in 2006 with a B.A. degree in History and a minor in Communications.
Jay currently works as a television personality and sports broadcasting analyst for the Sinclair Broadcast group on ABC6 and Fox28. He co-anchors The Emmy nominated ‘The Football Fever’ On ABC6 and Hosts ‘First Scores’ on Fox28. He is the co-founder of ‘2CENTS SPORTS’, a sports content platform that includes his podcast and other sports content. He also sits on the Ohio State Sports-medicine Advisory Board and is the Co-Founder of the Jay Richardson Foundation which won the NFL Unsung Athletes Award at the 2011 Super Bowl. The foundation provides life skills to high school students and helps them to develop a person plan for their success.
