Jessica Verran-Lingard

Jessica (she/her) is Associate Principal Counsel at Lucasfilm, where she supports legal and business affairs matters for ILM, ILMxLAB, Skywalker Sound, and Lucasfilm’s technology initiatives.  Prior to Lucasfilm, Jessica was an Associate at Gunderson Dettmer LLP, where she primarily focused on corporate partnering, strategic alliances, technology protection, licensing and commercialization of IP and technology assets for emerging companies within the entertainment and technology sector.  Prior to Gunderson, Jessica was an Associate at Jackson Walker LLP.
Jessica graduated from Stanford Law School and the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) with a JD/MBA in 2015.  In 2010, she earned her B.A. with honors at Vanderbilt University, double majoring in Mathematics and Political Science.  Jessica is deeply involved in the Stanford Alumni community, currently serving as Vice President of Alumni Engagement for the Stanford Law School Black Alumni Association (SLS BAA).  In addition to her role with the SLS BAA, Jessica currently serves on the Board of Directors for the GSB Alumni Association, as a Board Member for the GSB Black Alumni Chapter, and as a GSB Bay Area Recent Alumni Ambassador.
