Kimberly Hardy LaMotte
Kimberly Hardy-LaMotte earned her Juris Doctor degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was admitted into the Louisiana Bar in 2012. After working with the Louisiana House of Representatives and Louisiana Department of Health, she returned to the Law Center in 2017 as an Academic Counselor/Instructor of Law and is currently an Associate Professor of Academic Success. She also serves as the Director of the Board of Student Advisors and Co-Director of the Summer Pre-Law Program. Professor LaMotte earned both Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy. Her pharmacy practice experience includes retail, hospital and clinical pharmacy as well as positions in pharmacy administration. Professor LaMotte is a licensed pharmacist in Louisiana and is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association and has served as a continuing pharmacy education presenter for the Louisiana Pharmacists Association.
Being passionate about the local community, Professor LaMotte is currently a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and The Links, Incorporated. She is also a sustaining member of the Junior League of Baton Rouge and an associate member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
