Turron Davenport

Turron Davenport is ESPN’s NFL Nation Tennessee Titans reporter.
Davenport joined the company in August 2018. His role includes writing features, breaking news and providing in-depth analysis and commentary for ESPN.com. He also appears on various ESPN television programs, including SportsCenter and NFL Live, while contributing to ESPN Radio.
Prior to ESPN, Davenport spent two years covering the Philadelphia Eagles for The Eagles Wire of USA TODAY Sports Media Group, including the team’s Super Bowl LII championship season during his last year on the beat. Davenport also covered the Baltimore Ravens for two seasons with The Baltimore Times and the San Francisco 49ers for three seasons for Bay Sports Net.
In addition to reporting, Davenport served as the Director of Marketing/Client Relations for the Twenty10 Sports Management Group where he negotiated marketing and advertising agreements for various NFL players. He is also the author/co-author of four books: A Team Makes A Miracle: Doug Pederson’s Journey to the Super Bowl, Carson Wentz: Soaring with the Eagles, What Did Football Teach Me? and Football: A Love Story.
Davenport is a member of the Pro Football Writers Association (PFWA). He graduated from Cheyney University in 2001 with a degree in marketing.
