Zandria Conyers
Deputy General Counsel & Managing Director of Legal Affairs, and Interim Managing Director of Human Resources

In her various roles, Zandria oversees human resources and legal operations at the NCAA. In her interim HR capacity, she oversees all HR matters, ranging from talent acquisition and performance management to benefits/compensation, and policy development and compliance. Additionally, Zandria’s legal responsibilities include fiscal and budget management & oversight, departmental and litigation operations and staff management, internal investigations, and general legal and business counseling to internal units such as finance, internal audit, information security, and enterprise risk management. Zandria is the primary legal support for all women’s basketball matters, including before the DI Women’s Basketball Oversight Governance Committee. Prior to her roles with the NCAA, Zandria served as the former general counsel for the Ladies Professional Golf Association in Florida. She is a graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law and the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications. She is married to fellow UF alum and Darden Business School alum, Marcel, and they have two children, Demetrick, a freshman at Howard University and Charlotte, a 12 year-old elite basketball player. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
