The Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment has been a cornerstone of American jurisprudence, guaranteeing that no state shall deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. With the recent Supreme Court decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard, questions have arisen regarding the implication and understanding of the Equal Protection Clause and what it entails today. Moreover, we will partake in a wide-ranging scholarly discussion on anti-discrimination laws in America, exploring their role in advancing equal protection for every individual within the United States.
