SULC Office of Financial Aid Hosts Annual Open House Event
The Southern University Law Center’s (SULC) Office of Financial Aid recently hosted its annual Open House event, offering valuable financial insights and opportunities to law students. LeAndra Ross, AFC, regional director for the South with AccessLex Institute, headlined the event, delivering a practical and informative presentation on personal budgeting.
Ross guided students through five essential budgeting steps and introduced two distinct strategies designed to help them effectively manage their finances during law school and beyond. Her advice aimed to equip students with the skills needed to take control of their financial futures early in their careers.
In addition to gaining financial advice, attendees were also entered into the annual MAX by AccessLex® Scholarship Drawings. The first round of winners will be announced on November 1st.
