SULC Faculty Showcase Research at National Conferences
Southern University Law Center faculty continue to enhance the institution’s reputation for academic excellence by sharing innovative research and thought leadership on prominent national platforms.
Professors Genara Freeman-Morris and Charletta Fortson presented their paper, “NextGen Collaboration: Building Bridges to Student Success,” at both the Biennial Empire State Legal Writing Conference at Fordham Law School and Lift 2026: The Resilience Conference at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Their presentations highlighted collaborative strategies designed to promote student achievement and success in legal education.
The paper, co-authored with Associate Vice Chancellor Prentice White, Professor Emily Shaffett, and Professor Arielle Young, highlights the impact of collaboration in fostering student success and advancing innovative approaches to legal education.
