Law Center Students Attend 2026 ABA Antitrust Conference

From the classroom to the nation’s capital, Southern University Law Center students stepped onto the national stage, entering the center of antitrust conversations alongside leading legal minds.
The American Bar Association's (ABA) Spring Antitrust Conference brought together lawyers, students, and professionals from across the country, offering insight into the evolving world of antitrust law.
This three-day event featured experiences that included mock trial demonstrations, litigation sessions, and networking events, providing students with hands-on learning and meaningful engagement within the legal community. Students gained exposure to real-world legal practices, participated in interactive diversity discussions, and developed a deeper understanding of antitrust law.
The students also had the honor of meeting with former ABA President William C. Hubbard and attending an unforgettable soirée with legal professionals, offering a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and build connections with leaders in the field.
Outside of the conference, they visited the White House, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and touring the historic campus of Howard University.
Southern University Law Center continues its commitment to preparing practice-ready attorneys through real-world exposure, professional networking, and meaningful engagement within the legal community.
