Southern University AG Research & Ext Center Chancellor Search Committee
The Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center Chancellor Search Committee welcomes and encourages the participation and input of the entire Southern University community in the search for Chancellor of its nationally recognized Agriculture Center. This website serves as a resource for applicants and interested parties to obtain information regarding the position and the application process.
The Southern University and A&M College System is the only Historically Black system of higher education in the nation. The System consists of academic campuses in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Shreveport as well as Law and Agricultural Centers located in Baton Rouge.
The successful applicant will serve as the chief executive officer of the Agricultural Research and Extension Center and is responsible for the administration of all activities of the Center including, but not limited to, academic, financial, administrative affairs and other support activities.
