Alycia Grace-O'Bear

Alycia Grace-O'Bear is a graduate of Tulane University with a bachelor's degree in Communications, Rhetoric, and Public Discourse. Attorney Grace-O'Bear earned a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor and managing attorney for the SULC Clinical Education Program's Succession, Disaster Relief, and Poverty Law Clinics. Professor Grace-O'Bear teaches Louisiana Family Law, Contemporary Family Law, Louisiana Civil Law Property, and Louisiana Succession, Donations, and Trust.
Professor Grace-O'Bear has spent most of her twenty-plus years as a licensed practitioner working in the public sector. She served as an Assistant District Attorney 18th Judicial District Court, an Administrative Law Judge Louisiana Division of Administrative Law, a Deputy General Counsel State of Louisiana, and the presiding judge of the Louisiana Ethics Adjudicatory Board. She is a member of several organizations and affiliations, including the Louisiana State Bar Association, the 18th Judicial District Bar Association, The National Association of Administrative Law Judges, and the American Bar Association.
