Jude Chidi Ogene

Jude Chidi Ogene is the founder of Charles Winnsboro Corporation, which partners with US universities to provide working professionals in Africa training in high-growth areas such as cybersecurity, AI and cloud computing. He is also the Deputy General Counsel of Paxful, a peer-to-peer crypto marketplace.
Before founding Charles Winnsboro, Jude served in senior legal and business roles with a higher education management company. He joined the company as its first General Counsel and spearheaded over $300 million in follow-on investments by private equity firms. Prior to going in-house, Jude practiced corporate law with law firms in New York and Washington DC. He began his legal career with Sullivan & Cromwell after graduating from Georgetown University with a combined JD/MBA. Jude also has a LL.B. from the University of Nigeria, and a certificate in blockchain strategy from Oxford University.
Jude is a frequent writer and commentator on blockchain and cryptocurrency matters, especially as pertains to sub-Saharan Africa.
