The Mediation Law Clinic offers free conflict resolution services to individuals, organizations and agencies. Through classroom discussions and simulations, students receive extensive exposure to mediation theory and practice. Once trained, they observe actual mediations, mediate with experienced mediators, and then co-mediate cases with their classmates. Students are exposed to mediation in areas of small claims matters, landlord/tenant disputes, consumer related disputes, foreclosures and agricultural related cases, family law, EEOC, Education and Worker’s Compensation.
