Prof. Odinet presents mortgage foreclosure research in Belfast

Prof. Chris Odinet recently presented a paper on consumer protection concerns related to the use of mortgage bank contractors at the annual conference of the Association of Law, Property, and Society at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The conference took place from May 20-21, 2016, and brought together property law scholars from across the world. Topics ranged from land use and taking law to property theory and the proper operation of property markets. Prof. Odinet’s article completes his third and final article in a series on the use of property management contractors by banks in the mortgage foreclosure crisis. The two prior articles were published in the University of Cincinnati Law Review and the SMU Law Review.
