SULC Alum Nominated for Federal Judgeship

Class of 1992 alumnus, James David Cain Jr., has been nominated for a federal judgeship. President Donald Trump nominated Cain to serve as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Western District of Louisiana, which includes Lake Charles. Cain is a Deridder native and the son of former state Sen. James David Cain. He is a founding partner of Loftin, Cain and LeBlanc. His nomination is subject to confirmation by the Senate.
