Competition Information

COMPETITION SETUP

Teams must register through the official webpage with all fees received. (No exceptions)

Up to 16 Law School Teams (each school permitted to have a maximum of two teams)

Teams will consist of (Two to Three students and one faculty advisor) SELA will provide a person to be the CLIENT in each round.
The CLIENT will be armed with additional information that is not included in the listed Team Objectives, so as to simulate the “personal desires” of the CLIENT that often come up subsequent to the commencement of real-world negotiations. Note the CLIENT character is the same in each round as the competition will model the graduated advancement of a single fictitious recording artist (CLIENT).

Competition will consist of 3 Rounds:

1. The Management Deal Round (Top 6 teams advance)
2. The Indie Record Deal Round (Top 2 teams advance)
3. The Major Record Deal Round (Finale)
