Mentorship Program
Completing law school and entering into a rapidly changing legal profession can be daunting. We want our students and alumni to feel prepared and know that they have veteran professionals in their corner that they can turn to for advice or a listening ear. Mentoring is important, not only because of the knowledge and skills students can learn from mentors, but also because mentoring provides professional socialization and personal support to facilitate success in law school and beyond. The goal of the Lawyer Leaders mentoring program is to help develop key talent through career development, education and learning, and boosting engagement.
With over 4,000 Southern University Law Center alumni worldwide, this mentoring program is a valuable resource to our current and past students. These relationships will span through law school and beyond.
