New Office of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives launches at SULC, administrator named

Over the last two years, the SU Law Center has been fortunate to engage in innovative projects, strategic partnerships, and critical initiatives that have allowed it to broaden its reach with regards to students, employers, constituents, and interdisciplinary academic pursuits. Because of this continued success, the Office of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives has been created to seek and evaluate innovative projects, partnerships, and initiatives.
Marla Dickerson was named associate vice chancellor for the new SULC office. Dickerson currently serves as the director of the office continuing legal education and managing fellow of the Cannabis Compliance, Law and Policy Institute. She has more than 13 years of legal and higher education experience.
In other SULC appointments, Kerii Landry-Thomas was named associate vice chancellor for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and Title IX. Landry-Thomas has legal and equity positions for education and law firms across the country. She formerly served as the director of career services for the Southern University.
Jasmine D. Hunter was appointed director of communications. Serving as the director of external affairs, Hunter has a passion for brand management and fostering strategic partnerships. Over the past 10 years, Hunter has performed communications, recruitment, and event coordination within her held positions.
