Native Americans & African Americans: The Process and Progress of Overcoming Racism
In honor of Native American Heritage Month, FRONTLINE PBS, Southern University Law Center, and the Southern University Law Center’s Native American Law and Policy Institute, invite you to join a virtual discussion around the Civil Rights Cold Case multimedia investigation, Un(re)solved. The program will review the cases of Peter Francis, a member of the Passamaquoddy Indian tribe, and the cases of Denver Smith and Leonard Brown who were both students at Southern University when they were killed by police. The program will also preview of the upcoming FRONTLINE documentary, “American Reckoning.”
