Southern University Law Center (SULC) is proud to report a first-time bar passage rate of 75.28% on the July 2025 Louisiana Bar Examination, surpassing Tulane Law School among the four law schools in the state.
This milestone marks a significant achievement for SULC, aligning with the American Bar Association’s Standard 316, which requires accredited law schools to maintain a two-year bar passage rate of at least 75 percent.
These results clearly demonstrate that the focused efforts of our bar preparation programs are positively contributing to SULC's mission of preparing practice-ready lawyers. The Law Center credits its robust bar prep initiatives and faculty support for this success and looks forward to building upon the momentum to continue improving outcomes for future graduates.
