City Councilwoman Leslie Denham

Councilwoman Leslie Denham was elected to the Slidell City Council in 2018 to represent District A. She currently serves as President of the Slidell City Council and Chair of the 2020 Census Count and Redistricting Committee. She was previously a member of the Slidell Planning and Zoning Commission, a member of the Board of Directors for the Parish Council on Aging, and President of Neighbors Uniting for Change. Councilwoman Denham is a retired educator who taught in the Orleans Parish Public School system for many years. She and her husband, Dwight, also own Slidell Adult Day Health Care, where she has been the Director for over 17 years. Councilwoman Denham is a proud graduate of St. Mary’s Academy in New Orleans, Louisiana, and the University of New Orleans.
