Q: What's the difference between the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and the Title IX Office?
A: While both offices are here to support students, not all concerns go directly to the Office of Student Affairs. Some issues, especially those involving sexual misconduct or discrimination, are handled by the Title IX Office. Similarly, not all reports made to Title IX meet the criteria for a Title IX case and may be referred to OSA. Both offices ensure concerns are directed appropriately and take the opportunity to educate students on where to report in the future. Students can report to any office they feel comfortable with, but concerns may be redirected to ensure proper resolution.
