Public Interest Fellowships
Fellowships are great ways for students to obtain funding to pursue summer public interest employment opportunities. SULC coordinates and raises funds to support students interested in Public Interest Fellowships.
Equal Justice Works
Equal Justice Works (EJW) is a nation-wide organization that funds students’ independent grant proposals for public interest work. EJW also funds post-graduate fellowships.
PSJD
PSJD is a national resource for law students and attorneys interested in public service. Among other resources, PSJD includes an extensive jobs database with a variety of public interest opportunities, include paid and unpaid internships, fellowship opportunities, and more.
Chancellor’s Stipend
SULC encourages students to pursue public interest experiences. In furtherance of this goal, SULC provides a stipend for those students who have accepted a public service fellowship while in law school. Funding varies year to year, so students are encouraged to apply as soon as applications open. Applications are provided tentatively in early March. Requirements can be found here.
