Distinguished Alumni Give Back to Southern University Law Center
The Southern University Law Center (SULC) is proud to announce a generous $10,000 gift from Attorneys Edward Jones (Class of 1996) and Mark Crawford (Class of 1995), two distinguished alumni whose friendship and commitment to excellence began during their time as Law Center students and roommates.
Both men are esteemed members of the SULC Hall of Fame, with Mr. Crawford inducted in 2015 and Mr. Jones following in 2024. Their joint contribution reflects a deep appreciation for their alma mater and a shared dedication to investing in the success of future legal professionals.
In a joint statement, Attorneys Jones and Crawford said,“This gift represents our shared belief in the mission of the Southern University Law Center and our desire to give back to the institution that helped shape our lives and careers.”
Both alumni are also proud members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., exemplifying leadership, service, and achievement in their respective fields. Attorney Jones has established a thriving private practice, while Attorney Crawford has built an accomplished career in corporate America.
Their support ensures that our students have access to opportunities that prepare them to make a difference.
