SULC Winter Supplemental Bar Review begins today, Dec. 21
The 2015-16 SULC Winter Supplemental Bar Review begins today, Monday, December 21, incorporating nine weekly videotaped lectures and practice exams, as well as one-on-one personal assistance with exam writing.
The review is designed to assist SULC alumni who are taking the Louisiana Bar exam for the first time in February 2016.
The pre-recorded lectures are available to participants on a special TWEN page made accessible today, December 21, Prof. Shawn Vance, bar prep director, announced. Nine practice exams will be administered, beginning with the first exam from 4 to 6 p.m. today in 130 A. A. Lenoir Hall.
“The practice exams will be administered at the Law Center in an effort to replicate ‘bar-like conditions’ and to assist in acclimating the participants to the conditions they will face when taking the Louisiana Bar exam,” according to Prof. Vance.
“Once a participant has taken a practice exam and uploaded it to the TWEN page, the participant will be assigned a Writing Fellow,” he explains.
The Writing Fellow will assess the participant’s written answer and meet with the participant to provide guidance on how to improve the written answer.
