Morgan Ducote, a rising 3-L at SULC, tied for first place in the Louisiana State Bar Association Environmental Law Section Writing Competition for her article Uprooted and Underwater: An Examination of the Ideology Towards the Legal Implications of Coastal Erosion. The contest was open to students at all four Louisiana law schools and was judged based on citation style (Bluebook), research, analysis, and writing style.
