ACLU Yearlong Externship
Since 1956, the American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana has worked to advance and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States and the State of Louisiana. We are part of a nationwide network of affiliates that fights tirelessly in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C. We are a racial and gender justice organization focusing especially on policing, mass incarceration, and voting rights.

- Title: ACLU Legal Extern
- Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid out of New Orleans office
- Duration: 2023-2024 school year; fall and spring semesters
- Students will be able to obtain course credits

Title: Air Pollution and Natural Language Processing Intern, Office of Chief Scientist (OCS)
Location: Hybrid out of Austin Office (San Francisco and New Orleans Offices may also be an option), or U.S. Remote.
Compensation: $17 - $20/ hour

MFJ Fall 2023 Internship Opportunity
Measures for Justice is a non-partisan, fast-paced, entrepreneurial non-profit on a mission to develop tools and services that help communities reshape the criminal justice system. Since 2011, we have pioneered a methodology to compare how different justice systems perform on the county level and led the charge to improve county-level criminal justice data. While we do not advocate for any specific reforms, we do work to make change possible by increasing system transparency, accessibility, and accountability. We’ve got world-class criminal justice data and technology chops. And a culture that demands excellence, rigor, and people who like to make good ideas come to life.
