Hankins v. Wheeler
You are invited to pack the court for Hankins v. Wheeler. It establishes a roadmap for holding off-duty police officers working on patrol for security districts liable for misconduct. The hearing will determine both whether the Hurstville Security District officers—accused of brandishing a weapon at Black boys looking for a lost dog—and their supervisors will be tried before a jury for their misconduct.
